The EXO² Stormrider heated bodywarmer has an innovative and unique climate control system that has been developed to satisfy the needs of a professional motorcyclist. The vest connects via a fused cable to the battery of your bike and self regulates its temperature at an average of 50°C. An optional controller, that fits onto the handlebars of the bike, gives you the ability to precisely control the temperature of your own micro environment.
Ride Recomended in February 2012 and Adventure Bike Rider gave it a 9 out of 10 in November 2012.
Manufactured using a new, breathable, lightweight, waterproof and windproof fabric called AirXtream, which effectively wicks moisture away from the body, keeping the user both dry and warm, even after many hours on the road. Its body hugging characteristics help the resulting heated garment to look equally stylish on men or women.
The EXO² FabRoc® heat panel technology is so versatile and robust it can be machine washed, although had washing with a non-biological powders or pure soap flakes is recommended to protect the breathable membrane in long term use.
The heated panels are located at the chest, abdomen, upper back and kidney/lumbar area.
The vest is powered by a straight forward connection to the motorcycle battery via the supplied loom or from an optional rechargeable battery pack. (when using the power pack heat will only be delivered to the kidney/lumber area).
Power requirement - The Body warmer draws approx. 3Amps at full power.
