Bull-It jeans have partnered up with Covec, a company focused on 'Technical Textiles', to produce A, AA and AAA rated motorcycle jeans. Covec offers certain advantages over more traditional materials like Aramids and UHMWPE's and a lot of advantages over Polyamide yarns (like Nylon) and Polyester yarns. Depending on the material you compare it with, Covec yarn has higher abrasion resistance, higher cur resistance, lower friction heat transfer and is more resistant to wear for prolonged performance.
