Success for Scorpion Helmets riders at MotorLand Aragon
It was a great weekend of racing at MotorLand Aragon for a number of of reasons, but Nicolas Terol has the biggest reason to celebrate as he combined a birthday with victory in the Moto2 class.
The Spanish rider turned 25 on Friday, but had to wait to celebrate with champagne on the top step of the podium on Sunday. Fellow Scorpion Helmets sponsored rider, Mika Kallio, also had a great race, moving up 10 places from his grid position to take fifth behind team-mate and championship leader Scott Redding.
In Moto3, Jonas Folger took a brave seventh despite injury, with Alexis Masbou in 11th and Jack Miller in 13th. Top Scorpion rider in MotoGP was Alvaro Bautista, and it was a big day for Yonny Hernandez, who has moved from the Paul Bird Motorsports CRT bike to a Pramac Ducati for the remainder of the season.
