A new range of anti-fogging motorcycle visor inserts
THESE HAVE BEEN REDUCED TO ONLY £2.50 AS THE DORMANT COLOUR (NO UV SUNLIGHT) IS A PINKY COLOUR BUT THEY STILL REACT TO SUNLIGHT AND TURN TO A SHADE OF BLUE AND THE ANTI FOG PROPERTIES ARE NOT AFFECTED.
Made from 0.7mm high optical grade photochromatic material they also incorporate Fine Vision's anti-fog qualities which ensure clear vision at all times with the Arai-specific version, designed to flow round the eyebrow vents fitted to the visor but will fit other helmet brands, please check sizes
The lens fits pinned and non-pinned visors.
The product is powered by Pinlock – the market leader in anti-fog visor systems – Fine Vision offers built-in protection from harmful UV (ultraviolet) rays as well as maintaining a fog-free visor.
Fine vision Photochromatic adhesive lenses are perfect for use all day long whether its a hot and sunny afternoon or a bright chilly winters day. Using light reactive technology they transform from a shade of pink to a deeper shade of mid blue within seconds in bright sunlight and return to their original colour when the weather changes. In colder weather the reaction time is slower
We have taken pictures of the actual insert in its clear state on a piece of white paper and the outside in the sun light to show the changes. Please note there will always be a slight difference once the insert is fitted to the visor as the UV light has then to pass through your clear visor to make the insert react.
The photochromatic performance depends on the intensity of the UV light, the UV intensity is for instance lower during a cloudy day and the surrounding temperature and will start to fail over time
Warning
It is your responsibility to determine the suitability of this product for its intended use, and you use this product at your own risk. If at any time you believe that the Fine Vision photochromatic lens is obscuring your vision (for example the lens may not perform properly in subfreezing temperatures), remove the lens at once.
The product is not recommended for use at night. An increase in back glare may occur with night use. Use at your own discretion
They are easy to fit - full instructions supplied - and need no attention once in place. To clean use a liquid green soap, luke warm water and a soft moist cloth.
The package is marked "for track use only".

Just had one of these fitted to my visor even though its not an Arai because at a £5 I thought it would be worth go with it been photochromatic and the Shoei one was expensive.Value Quality usability
Cracking product, no more misting visors or sun in the eyes.
Did get the lads to fit it for me as it did look a little fiddly but after seeing them fit it and clean my helmet! it would have been easy. (Posted on 12/01/2015) - Great idea Review by John

I have used one of these inserts on my X-Lite for 3 years now and I think they are brilliant.Value Quality usability
Bit fiddly to fit but once I read the instructions and followed the video on YouTube it was ok.
They turn a nice blue quickly in the summer but find a bit slower in the winter but have ben told the reaction time relies on high UV levels and warm temperature for the best results but been without my visor misting is the most important.
